5GTN+ – 5G Test Network Facilitating Vertical Businesses
We have been building a demonstration and validation platform for the upcoming 5G solutions starting from 2015. This on-going construction work is supported by various projects targeting the 5G verticals and the network is deployed in Oulu, Finland, together with a number of different partners closely involved in the development and specification of the 5G technology. The test networks provide extensive test facilities in close to carrier-grade state-of-the-art network.
This talk walks you through the network architecture, details the assets available in the platform and briefly describes the vertical business use cases studied including eHealth, wellness, industry 4.0, media, and automotive.
