Harri Posti

Harri Posti was born in Rovaniemi, Finland in 1965. He received his M.Sc. (EE) and D.Sc (Tech) degrees at the University of Oulu in 1991 and 2000.

Previously he worked for three years as Business Development Manager, with the University of Oulu and the city of Oulu. There his tasks were related to supporting the wireless industry transformation in the region.

Presently Harri is Research Director at the Centre for Wireless Communications at the University of Oulu, Finland.

The Nokia Corporation also employed Harri for 19 years, both on the network and devices side. Most of the time he managed research and technology management teams.

His current research interests include mobile technology as well as critical communication solutions. Harri has created about 30 patented inventions.
