5G and Net Neutrality
EU law and BEREC Guidelines define Open Internet or Net Neutrality (NN) as the leading principle of Internet Access. NN as defined for Europe limits the way 5G operators can use network slicing on consumer markets. At the same time slicing can be used on vertical markets. NN also severely limits how security can be implemented for 5G terminals using network and cloud based means. The talk describes that situation with NN and its impact on 5G business and identifies issues that would need to be resolved in this area.
