Seppo Hätönen

Seppo Hätönen is a PhD student at the University of Helsinki under professor Sasu Tarkoma.

His current research interests are in Software-defined Networking, and how it can be brought to existing legacy devices such as home gateways or Wi-Fi access points.

He is also exploring how SDN can benefit the Internet-of-Things devices and their security, and how to orchestrate network management with other network controllers such as 5G core networks.
