Our purposes of processing your personal data

In case you wish to attend the event, the provision of your personal data, as collected on the on-line form, is necessary for us to be able to organize the event.

More specifically, we process the personal data we collect from you for the following purposes:

Organizing and communicating practical matters related to payment process of the registration fees, seminar venues, catering, etc.
Reporting to the funding providers, sponsors, speakers and media

The collection and processing of your personal data is necessary for our legitimate interest in organizing the event.

University of Oulu processes the personal data collected from you on the on-line format according to this Privacy Notice

Recipients of your personal data

6G FLAGSHIP programme administration as organizer of the event.

Lyyti Ltd according to the principles stated in their Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

All the personal data collected from you will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No data will be transferred outside the EU or the EEA.

Storage period of your personal data

Full personal information as we collect here: from time of collection until the end of December 2021.

Other information

You have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning yourself or to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability, as stated in the GDPR. The applicability of such rights are specified more in detail in the GDPR.

In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman regarding the processing of your personal data.
